The Artist
Sound as a
State of Mind
TINMusic is a Belgian electronic and ambient producer. This is the story behind the sound.
Biography
Between Silence
and Noise
TINMusic began as a private experiment — a way to process the world through sound rather than words. Based in Belgium, the project draws from the rich tradition of European electronic music while carving its own path through minimalist composition and textural synthesis.
Each release is a carefully constructed sonic environment. The process starts with field recordings — rain on concrete, the hum of electrical infrastructure, the silence between trains — which are then layered with modular synthesizer patches and processed until the source material becomes unrecognizable.
The result exists in the liminal zone between the organic and the digital. Music that doesn't demand your attention, but rewards it completely when given.
Live performances are rare and intentional — each set is a unique improvised structure built from pre-composed material, designed for the specific space and audience. No two shows are the same.

History
The Journey
First Recordings
Started experimenting with modular synthesis and field recordings in a small home studio in Ghent, Belgium. The first sketches were purely personal — sound as meditation.
Debut Release — "Submerged"
Self-released the debut EP "Submerged" on Bandcamp. The response from the ambient community was unexpected — the record found its way to listeners across Europe and beyond.
Live Performances
Began performing live at intimate venues and art spaces in Belgium and the Netherlands. Each set is unique — no setlists, only improvised structures built from pre-composed material.
"Liminal Space" LP
The first full-length album. Recorded over 18 months, it explores the psychological space between waking and sleep. Featured in several ambient music publications.
"Signal Drift" & Stem Releases
Expanded into releasing stems and sample packs alongside music, inviting other producers into the creative process. Collaborated with visual artists on audiovisual installations.
"Void Frequencies" — Latest Album
The most ambitious work to date. Nine tracks built from synthesizer architecture, processed field recordings, and silence as a compositional element.
